Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S6410 Review

Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S6410 is an attractive Windows Vista-powered ultra-portable laptop. Equipped with latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology, the silver-and-black machine would make a good choice for frequent travellers. Whereas the company’s E8410 is a desktop replacement laptop with more raw power, the Lifebook S6410 is better suited to road warriors due to its compact size (314x234x23-32mm) and minimal weight (1.7kg).

The Lifebook S6410 (from £1068) is an attractive system, much like the larger E8410, but it does suffer from the same flimsy build quality. In particular, the keyboard flexes a little too much for our liking, and there’s too much travel in the keys. Plus, there's a fair bit of give in the wrist-rest area. High-quality hinges and a magnesium lid are present, but we still feel the machine is on the delicate side. BIOS: Small Business Computing Linked by LT Hacker
