| MacBook Pro 17 Inch Core 2 Duo Introduced |
Apple today introduced, along with 15 inch model, the 17 inch widescreen MacBook Pro laptop computer featuring the new Intel Core 2 Duo (Merom) processor. The 17 inch MacBook Pro comes with Core 2 Duo T7600 CPU at 2.33GHz with 4MB of L2 cache and 2GB of main memory. The two SO DIMM slots support up to 3GB memory.The 17-inch MacBook Pro features 160GB SATA hard drive spinning at 5400rpm, but there are also optional 100GB at 7200rpm and 200GB at 4200rpm drives. It has a built-in double layer DVD burner.
The 17-inch Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro comes with ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics card with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and a dual-link DVI support.
